Local Eyes is a new name on the High Street because we have relocated and re-named our experienced team from Horn & Pierce Opticians. Horn & Pierce have been providing eyecare in Scarborough since 1935.

We really enjoy taking care of our clients by giving them the time they need, time not always given by others on the high street. We provide eye tests to check your vision & the health of your eyes, contact lens checks, VDU screening, Low Vision Aid appointments and a red eye clinic.

You can browse at leisure amongst our frame displays, where we have frames to suit all budgets from basic to designer. Doesn’t that sound stress free?! We provide free style consultations so you can be sure to find the right frame for you. Our professionally qualified staff will also make sure you know all about the lens choices available to you.

Your spectacles have to last a long time so we pride ourselves in looking after you and your glasses between sight tests too with repairs, servicing, advice & answering questions about eye problems such as glaucoma, cataracts, macula degeneration or diabetic eye disease. We are happy to help and advise you.
